Empowering Youth through Brand Monetization: A Report on the Brand Monetization Workshop Hosted by TOOTH and Partners.
The Brand Monetization Workshop (BMW-Buea), held at the Buea Shopping Mall Mile 16, was a transformative event designed to equip young individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to turn their talents, skills, and passions into sustainable brands and income-generating opportunities.
A significant number of young people in our communities possess remarkable gifts and abilities but struggle with vision, direction, and how to turn this gifts into money.
This lack of clarity often leaves them vulnerable to societal pressures, leading to frustration and unfulfilled potential. The BMW-Buea aimed to bridge this gap by providing a structured framework for youth to identify their unique strengths, define their niche, and effectively create Jobs for themselves.
Workshop Structure and Key Highlights
The one-day intensive workshop spanned seven hours and included a combination of keynote presentations, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.
The event featured distinguished speakers and experts in branding, leadership, and digital empowerment, including:
- Madam Doris Ngum – Founder of Royalty World
- Ambassador Merlin – Founder of Renewed Mind Leaders
- Pastor Silas Achu – Founder of Lead from the Heart
- Madam Sirri Emelda – Project Coordinator for Royalty World

The Road Ahead: Expanding the Brand Monetization Initiative
The BMW-Buea was made possible through the generous support of Royalty World and Partnership Enterprise Cameroon, whose belief in youth empowerment played a critical role in the success of the event.
Moving forward, the BMW initiative is set to expand to Bamenda (Northwest Region) to reach even more young people. Additionally, all fellows from the BMW-Buea cohort will be enrolled in the Brand Monetization Academy (BMA), where they will receive further training in:
- Clarity and Purpose Discovery
- Brand Development and Mentorship
- Maximizing Digital Platforms for Monetization
- Spiritual and Personal Growth Empowerment
The Brand Monetization Workshop is not just an event—it is a movement. By equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and network to transform their talents into thriving businesses, we are laying the foundation for economic empowerment and sustainable job creation.
With continued support and expansion, this initiative will drive even greater change, ensuring that young people across Cameroon and beyond have the tools they need to thrive in the digital economy and beyond.
